CPC STORAGE
The Ceramic Pipes Company adhered special packaging, internal storage and dispatching methods to avoid any damages to clay pipes and fittings. Therefore, we recommend to adopt the special care while unloading, site storage and lowering into a trench, a special handling method should be adhered to as described ahead.

Storage in Factory
The finish goods of Vitrified Clay Pipes and fittings after packaging are stored in controlled manner classified according to the DN sizes in a specific allocated location of warehouse.


Loading and Dispatching for local market
The stored palletized Finish goods of Vitrified Clay Pipes and fittings for local market are loaded on long trailers (12-14 meters length) with forklifts and dispatched against the approved orders according to the standard classified packaging according to the DN sizes.



Loading and Dispatching for Export
The special palletized Finish goods of Vitrified Clay Pipes and fittings for exports are loaded into the High Cube (H.C) containers with forklifts through the ramp according to the standard classified packaging for each DN size.


Unloading and Handling at Site
The VCP pipes pallets shall be only unloaded at site by convenient equipment’s (e.g Forklift) which does not allow any damages to products.
Lifting, dropping or lowering pallets/pipes with jerking movements or suddenly letting them to the ground will cause damages. In case of other lifting machines like cranes is used for loading and unloading, wooden bars must be laid between the slings to ensure that no damages occur to the pipes (See below).

Storage and Transportation at Site
The VCP product pallets shall be stored in controlled manner at reasonable leveled surface by keeping distance between pallets.
Any site machinery can be used for handling at site which does not permit damage to products. A forklift is the most convenient which does not allow any damages to products. The individual pipes should be set down on a reasonable leveled surface and off the ground by a square timber to protect the K (C) joint of spigot end from any damage. The dragging or rolling of pipes is not allowed.
